A Church where Everybody is Somebody and Christ is Lord of All.

The focus of Sunday school is to teach the word of God.

When children come to Sunday school, the seed of Christianity is planted early and a firm foundation is established. They are nurtured and guided while they are yet in a teachable stage. Truly, "as a twig is bent so shall it grow", children gain an understanding of God’s love, the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to gain salvation and the role of the Holy Spirit in helping them grow into responsible, mature Christians. Teens, young adults and older adults are also very active members of Sunday school. They offer energy, challenges and a wealth of personal experiences, wisdom and knowledge.

All who attend Sunday school gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures, and this enables them to grow into responsible, mature Christians.

Cross Street A.M.E. Zion Sunday school has a wonderful teaching and administrative staff. They are exceptionally dedicated and strive for excellence in all they do.  Sunday Church School Superintendent

A word from our Pastor

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15 KJV.

Our Church School is a place of training, learning and nurturing. Great care is given to provide an environment for teaching and study for children, youth and adults.

The teaching is Christ-centered, providing practical ways to grow and mature in Christ Jesus. You will find that learning is a fun experience,

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 6:6,7. KJV.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
